Acupuncture Gold Coast Our Practitioners

We’re delighted to welcome Naomi to Acupuncture Hub.
Naomi brings a wealth of experience, a calm presence, and a deep commitment to holistic healing. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and has completed additional studies in Naturopathy, grounding her practice in both classical and modern approaches to Chinese Medicine.
Her training includes classical Japanese Acupuncture and Meridian Therapy under Master Masakazu Ikeda, as well as advanced moxibustion techniques. Naomi has a special interest in the relationship between emotions and physical health, creating a gentle and empowering space for each person she works with.
Her journey has also taken her into Mayan womb healing through mentorship with Andrea Lopez, and to China, Tibet, and Cambodia, where she studied with monks, lamas, and traditional doctors. These experiences continue to shape her approach, inspiring a unique and deeply intuitive style of care.
Naomi believes in the body’s natural ability to heal and works to support that process with precision, warmth, and wisdom. We’re proud to have her as part of our team and know that her presence will bring great value to our community.

Acupuncturist Ryan Llewellyn

Unfortunately, the answer is no. This is because there are so many different factors that can affect fertility. You can carry out many investigations such as sperm and egg quality tests, testing for blocked tubes, endometriosis,, or polycystic ovaries. A large percentage of miscarriage issues are related to the male. Especially if they drink alcohol, use cannabis or have a high carbohydrate diet.

IS ACUPUNCTURE SAFE IF I AM A HIGH RISK PREGNANCY?

Yes, it is safe, and we treat high risk patients all the time. However, if you fall under the category of a high-risk pregnancy and are seeking acupuncture, please see only a registered acupuncturist who is experienced in this area. In traditional Chinese Medicine we have acupuncture points which have the action of preventing miscarriage.

Should both the MAle and Female receive fertility treatment?

To achieve the best results, it is essential to treat both the male and female, otherwise you are just regulating female hormones. It may seem obvious, but it takes two. There is an abundance of new research confirming just how large a part the sperm plays. Poor sperm can affect the fetus size, cause genetic mutations, increase miscarriage rates, and more.

WHAT TO EXPECT

For our fertility clients only, we offer a 2.5 hour initial consult for both parties. This consult includes an Acupuncture treatment for the both of you and aims to answer any questions you may have. It also aims to educate about the do’s and don’ts of conception and pregnancy. We work hand in hand with doctors, surgeons, and other fertility specialists. We have invested a lot of time and effort into researching fertility and how it relates to polycystic ovaries, endometriosis, amenorrhea, and more. We enjoy educating and empowering our clients to make informed choices.

ACUPUNCTURE FOR NATURAL LABOUR INDUCTION

Preparing for labour naturally is a fantastic option for women. There are several acupuncture points which are forbidden to be used during pregnancy. This is because health authorities believe they carry a risk of causing miscarriage. These are the points acupuncturists use with the aim of promoting labour. The acupuncture for labour treatment is also aimed at strengthening the women for childbirth and ripening the cervix. Ideally, treatment begins at 36 weeks, aiming to strengthen the mother and prepare her for labour. At the 38-week point, the treatment focus shifts to bring on the labour.
